Perfect

The Liars' lives seem perfect on the surface, but they are far from it. They are all dealing with their own personal problems, and they are all struggling to keep their secrets hidden.

Alison is dealing with the aftermath of her disappearance. She is struggling to adjust to her new life, and she is afraid of what will happen to her if her friends find out the truth about what happened to her.

In the fifth season, Spencer shoots a man in order to protect her friends. Spencer shoots the man to stop him from hurting her friends.

Killer

The Liars have been accused of murder, but they are not killers.

In the first season, the Liars are accused of murdering Alison. They are arrested and charged with her murder, but they are eventually cleared.
In the second season, the Liars are accused of murdering Ian Thomas, Alison's former boyfriend. They are arrested and charged with his murder, but they are eventually cleared.
In the third season, the Liars are accused of murdering Garrett Reynolds, a Rosewood Police officer. They are arrested and charged with his murder, but they are eventually cleared.
In the fourth season, the Liars are accused of murdering Shana Fring, a former Rosewood High student. They are arrested and charged with her murder, but they are eventually cleared.
In the fifth season, the Liars are accused of murdering Archer Dunhill, a private investigator. They are arrested and charged with his murder, but they are eventually cleared.

Heartless

The Liars have sometimes been accused of being heartless.

In the first season, the Liars are accused of being heartless for not grieving Alison's death. They are accused of being selfish and shallow, and they are told that they do not deserve to be friends.
